School Site Council Nomination and Process

School Site Councils (SSC) are required by state and federal regulations. You are invited to become a candidate for membership on the School Site Council.

The School Site Council (SSC) represents parents, students, community members, and school staff in school governance. SSC meetings are usually held monthly. The SSC is responsible for:

1)  Develop, implement, monitor, review, and approval of the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
2)  Identify resources to support SPSA initiatives.
3)  Review student performance data to determine needs.
4)  Review and update the Title I Parent Involvement Policy and School‐Parent Compact.

This is a two‐year term. 

 
If you are interested in participating, please complete this form and submit it before Monday, August 26, 2024. 
If you are nominating someone else, please make sure the person is in acceptance of your nomination.
 
Elections will be held at Back to School Night on August 29, 2024. Back to School Night begins at 6:00PM.
