Colorguard

Color Guard is a sport of the art where we incorporate dance with sabres, rifles, and flags. We encourage all students to join our program with/without any experience in the performing arts. Our staff will help guide and train all our students before competition season begins(Early January). We strive for excellence and push our students to do their best at every rehearsal. The program will run from late October – early April. IVC is notorious for going against high school competitors and doing well with placement after each competition. You will be trained in: Dance concepts, hand-eye coordination, manipulation of equipment around the body(sabres, rifles, flags), learning how to control pressured situations, how to retail choreography, and many more.
